QUINTE RED DEVILS WEEKLY SUMMARY - November 10, 2025
It was another exciting week across the Quinte Red Devils AAA program, highlighted by big wins, standout performances, and a tournament championship! From thrilling finishes to strong defensive play, each team continues to represent the organization with pride, effort, and sportsmanship. The Quinte Red Devils AAA Hockey Association remains dedicated to developing elite players across the region — and as of this week, our teams have combined for an impressive 67 wins, 24 losses, and 7 ties in regular-season play.

U13 – 417 Bus Line U13 AAA Red Devils

The 417 Bus Line U13 Red Devils were crowned champions of the Niagara North Front Row Sports Classic, going a perfect 7-0 through the tournament to capture the title.

On Friday, the team opened with a 4-2 win over Windsor and followed up with a 5-1 victory over Buffalo. Saturday brought two more decisive wins — 5-0 against Oakville and 4-0 against Halton — as Quinte’s balanced offense and stellar goaltending continued to shine.
Sunday’s playoff round saw Quinte defeat Grey-Bruce 5-2 in the quarter-finals, roll past Buffalo 9-4 in the semis, and edge Waterloo 4-3 in a thrilling championship final.

Strong goaltending from Ryan Keyes and Blake Laurin, along with consistent scoring from across the lineup, led the way as the team went undefeated to secure the gold.

U14 – Madison Excavating U14 AAA Red Devils

The Madison Excavating U14 Red Devils competed in the Kitchener Blueline Tournament, showcasing determination and skill throughout four tough matchups.

Quinte opened with a 3-2 loss to the Saints Hockey Club in a nail-biter that went down to the final seconds. The team bounced back Friday night with a 4-3 win over the Cambridge Hawks, led by Anthony Auciello’s two-goal effort and key contributions from Jack Seeney, Everett Brown, and Robbie Robinson. Saturday’s contests brought a 2-0 loss to the Upper Canada Cyclones and a tight 2-1 defeat to Sudbury despite strong goaltending from Hayden Tripp and Ben Larmer.

Although QRD did not advance to Sunday’s playoff round, the group displayed heart, discipline, and growth, setting the tone for continued success in league play.

U16 – HockeyStickMan U16 AAA Red Devils

The HockeyStickMan U16 Red Devils earned a pair of strong victories over the weekend.

Saturday’s home matchup featured a battle between the league’s two remaining undefeated teams, as Quinte powered past Ajax-Pickering 5-2. Lauchlan Whelan, Lawson Minifie, Trent Clow, Austin Preston, and Ewan Dahle all contributed offensively, while Nathan Ferriss was solid in goal.
On Sunday, the Red Devils dominated from start to finish, defeating the North Shore Whitecaps 8-1. Whelan led the way with multiple points, supported by Andrew Laurin, Coen Lowry, Austin Ottenhof, and Kallum Phillips.

U18 – Quinte U18 AAA Red Devils

The U18 Red Devils had a rare weekend off after collecting six points in three road wins the previous week. The team will now turn its focus to the upcoming OMHA Showcase in Brampton, where they will face two strong opponents in the Guelph Gryphons and Hamilton Steel.

U10 – Belleville Integrative Health Centre U10 AAA Red Devils

The BIHC U10 Red Devils earned two big wins in a home-and-home series with the Barrie Jr. Colts.

On Saturday, Quinte earned a 4-2 win, controlling play at both ends of the ice with solid goaltending and tight defensive coverage. Sunday’s rematch was a barnburner, as Quinte overcame multiple lead changes to earn a 6-5 comeback victory, capped off by a late power-play goal and a strong penalty kill in the final minute.

U11 – Quinte Red Devils U11 AAA

The U11 Red Devils had a light week with no scheduled games but stayed sharp with practices to prepare for their upcoming league matchups.

Sunday, November 16 vs. Barrie Jr. Colts (12:30 PM, Marmora).


U12 – Breakaway Fuels U12 AAA Red Devils

The Breakaway Fuels U12 Red Devils picked up a strong road win in Clarington on Sunday, defeating the North Shore Whitecaps 5-1 in a matchup of two top-tier teams.
Smith Pilon opened the scoring late in the first period, while Kai Mackie, Wade Robinson, Jayden Stehlik, and Reid Haley added third-period goals to pull away. Assists went to Kolton Solmes, Tripp Plumley (2), Ryder Bradford, and Ethan Dowling, with Deacon Vos earning the win in net.
