Organizational Record: 96–38–12
As the holiday season approaches, the Quinte Red Devils AAA program continues to show depth, development, and resilience across all age groups. From tournament play to league matchups, teams showcased strong defensive structure, timely scoring, and high compete levels. This week’s summaries highlight another stretch of progress throughout the organization, with each group continuing to push their game forward as the season ramps up.
U10 – Two Wins Cap Off a Strong Weekend
Saturday, Nov. 29 – QRD 7, Central Ontario Wolves 4 (Woodville)
The Wolves opened the scoring and extended their lead to 2–0 early in the second, but Quinte stormed back with a pair of goals to tie the game 2–2. QRD kept pressing, grabbing a 3–2 lead before striking shorthanded late in the period to go up 4–2.
The Wolves cut the deficit early in the third, but QRD immediately restored the two-goal cushion. A key 2-on-0 save by the QRD netminder preserved momentum, and after weathering more penalty trouble, Quinte added insurance before sealing a 7–4 win.
Sunday, Nov. 30 – QRD 5, North Central Predators 0 (Madoc)
A scoreless first period gave way to a dominant second, with QRD striking twice to take control. A strong third period produced three more goals, while airtight defensive coverage and timely saves secured QRD’s first shutout of the season and a 5–0 victory.

U11 – Weekend Split for the Red Devils
Saturday, Nov. 29 – QRD 6, Peterborough 4 (Peterborough)
After falling behind 2–0, Quinte capitalized on Peterborough penalty trouble, scoring five straight power play goals from Unger (2), Elrick (2), and May. With the Petes pressing late, Baily sealed the win with an empty-netter for a 6–4 victory.
Sunday, Nov. 30 – QRD 4, Markham 6 (Marmora)
Quinte opened the scoring through Unger, but a strong Markham surge saw the Waxers take control. QRD battled back in the third, narrowing the gap, but fell short in a 6–4 loss.

U12 – Compete Level High at Silver Stick Invitational
The Breakaway Fuels U12s competed in Whitby at the elite Silver Stick event.
Thursday – 4–2 Win vs. Vaughan Kings
Despite heavy pressure early, QRD struck four times in the second and third periods (Pilon, Solmes, Mackie x2) to earn a statement win.
Friday – 5–0 Win vs. Boston Minutemen Flames
Quinte controlled the play wire to wire with goals from Simpson (2), Stehlik, VanEgmond, and Plumley. Excellent puck movement and strong defensive play supported a clean sheet.
Saturday – 2–5 Loss vs. Huron Perth Lakers
End-to-end action saw the Devils generate chances but fall behind 4–0 before Simpson and Dowling cut into the lead. Despite late pressure, QRD came up short.
Saturday – 0–2 Loss vs. Chicago Reapers
An early 2–0 deficit proved too difficult to overcome as the Devils’ push fell just short.

U13 – Undefeated at 11–0 After Barrie Win
The 417 Bus Line U13s continued their exceptional start.
Saturday, Nov. 29 – QRD 8, Barrie 0 (Barrie)
Quinte dominated both ends of the rink with goals from Gilchrist (2), Whelan (2), Campbell (2), Reid, and Beebe. Assists were spread across the lineup, and Ryan Keyes earned the shutout to move QRD to 11–0.

U14 – Weekend Sweep of Central Ontario
Saturday, Nov. 29 – QRD 6, Central Ontario 0 (QSWC)
A five-goal second period powered Quinte to a commanding win, with goals from Kelly-Clarke, Bucknell, Paddon, Seeney, Auciello, and Banks. Ben Larmer recorded the shutout.
Sunday, Nov. 30 – QRD 3, Central Ontario 2 (Woodville)
Auciello opened the scoring, Plumley added a power-play marker, and Auciello buried his second to secure the win. Despite a late push from the Wolves, QRD held steady behind strong goaltending from Hayden Tripp.

U16 – Split Weekend: Loss Saturday, Statement Win Sunday
Saturday, Nov. 29 – QRD 1, Markham 3 (QSWC)
A slow start and difficulty generating sustained pressure resulted in a 3–1 loss. Ottenhof scored the lone goal on a setup from Preston and Dahle.
Sunday, Nov. 30 – QRD 10, North Central 0 (QSWC/Campbellford)
The U16s responded aggressively, exploding for 10 goals. Martin, Preston, Dahle, Ottenhof, Clow, Lowry, Whelan, and others contributed offensively, while Ferriss posted the shutout. QRD now sits with 27 of 30 possible points at the season’s halfway mark.

U18 – Three of Four Points Earned
Friday, Nov. 28 – QRD 5, Greater Kingston 2
Goals from Rivers, Tracze (2), Clute, and O’Shea powered a strong team win. Tracze, Chisholm, Clute, and Lesser added assists.
Saturday, Nov. 29 – QRD 1, Ajax-Pickering 2 (OT)
Grant opened the scoring, and Beaupré was outstanding in net, but APR struck in overtime to remain undefeated.
