QUINTE RED DEVILS WEEKLY REPORT - December 22, 2025
Another busy and exciting week of hockey is in the books for the Quinte Red Devils. From tournament championships and milestone moments to hard-fought league battles, our teams once again showcased the depth, competitiveness, and character that define hockey in the Quinte region. Across all age groups, the Red Devils continue to represent our organization with pride, resilience, and a strong team-first mindset. As a whole, the organization now holds a combined regular-season record of 127 wins, 55 losses, and 18 ties, reflecting the commitment of our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families who make this program what it is.


U13 – 417 Bus Line U13 Red Devils

First Loss of the Season, But Still Rolling

The U13 Red Devils saw both sides of the game this weekend, earning a dominant win on Saturday before dropping a tight contest on Sunday, marking their first loss of the season.

Saturday – 14–1 win vs. Central Ontario Wolves
Quinte’s offence was firing on all cylinders. Goal scorers included Jensen Campbell (2), Cohen Reid (2), Will Beebe (2), Kade Whelan (2), Noah Gilchrist, Dawson Szubzda-Hill, Declan Doyle, Max Norton, Ryker Thompson, and Jaxon Elrick.
Assists were spread throughout the lineup, led by Beebe (5), Smith (3), Norton (3), Brown (3), Gilchrist (2), Whelan (2), Nelson (2), Szubzda-Hill, Campbell, and Doyle.
Ryan Keyes earned the win in goal.

Sunday – 4–3 loss vs. Whitby Wildcats
Whitby edged Quinte in a tightly contested game. Goals came from Whelan (2) and Kash Nelson, with Beebe adding an assist. Blake Laurin was between the pipes.

On Deck: Sunday, January 4th @ North Central Predators.


U14 – Madison Excavating U14 Red Devils

Heart, Hustle, and a Big Road Point

The U14 Red Devils posted a strong week, earning a shutout win, battling through a tough home loss, and grinding out an overtime tie on the road.

Wednesday – 3–0 win vs. Greater Kingston
Goals from Robbie Robinson, Kaiden Sprackett, and Kadyn Bowden powered Quinte to a well-structured victory. Hayden Tripp was sharp in net, earning the shutout.

Saturday – 4–1 loss vs. Whitby Wildcats
QRD struck first on a goal by Sprackett, assisted by Eli Kelly-Clarke, but Whitby pulled ahead. Ben Larmer made several high-danger saves to keep the game close.

Sunday – 4–4 OT tie @ Ajax-Pickering
Robinson, Antonio Auciello, Kelly-Clarke, and Carter Colbourne found the back of the net as the Devils earned a hard-fought road point. Tripp made key saves late to preserve the tie.

On Deck:
• Saturday, Jan. 3 @ North Shore Whitecaps (6:00 pm)
• Sunday, Jan. 4 @ Greater Kingston (2:30 pm)


U16 – HockeyStickMan U16 Red Devils

High-Scoring Week and Big Points Earned

The U16s were busy leading into the holiday break, skating to three wins and one overtime loss while collecting seven of eight possible points.

Highlights included:

  • A 9–2 road win over Markham featuring a hat trick from Lauchlan Whelan

  • A 7–0 shutout of Whitby, with Nathan Ferriss earning the clean sheet

  • A 6–4 win in the return match with Markham

  • A dramatic OT loss to Ajax-Pickering, after building a 3–0 lead

The Devils head into the break in a strong position as they prepare for the Marlboros Holiday Classic (Dec. 27–30).


U18 – Quinte Red Devils

Midweek Win, Tough Weekend Schedule

The U18s opened the week with a 5–3 home win over Peterborough, with goals from Connor Fetterley, Isaac Tracze (2), Liam Grant, and Maddox Vespa.

Over the weekend:

  • A hard-fought 5–4 loss to Markham, after battling back from an early deficit

  • A 6–2 loss to York-Simcoe with a shortened roster due to illness

On Deck: One final game at North Shore before the Christmas break.


U10 – BIHC U10 Quinte Red Devils

Strong Finish and Holiday Spirit

The U10s earned two impressive wins:

  • 6–2 road win vs. Central Ontario, fueled by a big third period

  • 5–1 home win vs. North Shore, paired with a successful food-bank donation drive

The team thanked fans and sponsors for their generosity and heads into the holiday break on a high note.


U11 – Quinte Red Devils

Two Wins in a Busy Week

The U11s went 2-1 on the week:

  • 6–3 win vs. Peterborough

  • 5–3 win vs. Kingston, in a game supporting the Quinte Humane Society

  • 5–2 loss vs. York-Simcoe

The team now prepares for one final regular-season game before heading to the Bell Capital Cup in Ottawa.


U12 – Breakaway Fuels U12 Red Devils

Two Wins to Close Out Before the Break

The U12s earned two strong victories:

  • 5–3 road win vs. York-Simcoe, with clutch third-period goals

  • 4–3 home win vs. Greater Kingston, holding off a late push

On Deck: Christmas break, followed by the Bell Capital Cup (Dec. 28–30).
