U16 – HockeyStickMan U16 Roll Past Jr. Petes
The HockeyStickMan U16 Red Devils travelled to Peterborough on Saturday to close out their season series with the Jr. Petes and delivered a statement 7–2 road victory.
Andrew Laurin set the tone early, scoring twice in his first two shifts. The first came on a deft tip of an Andrew Dewar point shot, with Cooper Poskin picking up the assist. Laurin struck again moments later, burying a rebound off a Jax Martin blast.
After Peterborough cut the lead to 2–1 on the power play, Quinte exploded for five unanswered goals in the third. Martin finished a tic-tac-toe play with Laurin and Dewar, Ewan Dahle buried a Lawson Minifie rebound, and Trent Clow converted a feed from Coen Lowry. Colton Dee added a seeing-eye shot, and Lauchlan Whelan capped the scoring. Nathan Ferriss was steady in goal, helping Quinte secure two important points in the playoff race.
Sunday’s road game in Ajax was cancelled due to weather, with a rescheduled date not available at press time.

U18 – Red Devils Battle Back for a Point
The U18 Quinte Red Devils hosted the Peterborough Petes on Saturday, digging in after an early deficit to earn a hard-fought point.
After falling behind 2–0, QRD responded with a goal from Owen Rivers, assisted by Pierson Clute and Jayden Leach. Peterborough extended the lead to 4–1 before Galen O’Shea struck late in the second, with helpers from Leach and Rivers.
The third period belonged to Quinte. Gavin Parliament scored off a great pass from Maclean Chisholm, and Connor Fetterley followed with an individual effort to tie the game 4–4. Overtime solved nothing, and the teams split the points.
U10 – Weather Tests the BIHC U10 Red Devils
Snowy conditions created a challenging week for the Belleville Integrative Health Center U10 Red Devils, with practice cancellations limiting preparation time. Despite the hurdles, the team hit the road Saturday to face the Kingston Jr. Gaels.
The game featured end-to-end action and highlight-reel saves from both goaltenders, with the first two periods tightly contested. Kingston found separation in the third, pulling away for a 6–3 win.
Sunday’s scheduled matchup against York-Simcoe was cancelled due to the threat of heavy snowfall. With weather behind them, the focus now shifts back to preparation and the next road test.
