U10 (2017) – Head Coach: Josh Moore

Josh grew up in the Quinte area, where he played minor hockey locally, and now resides in Madoc, Ontario with his family and three boys—each of whom he has proudly coached over the past nine years. During that time, his passion for the game has continued to grow, along with his involvement in the sport.
Over the past decade, Josh has served in a variety of roles, including Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Development Coach, Coaching Coordinator, Coaching Mentor, Ice Scheduler, and OMHA Representative with multiple organizations.
Josh is committed to building a team-first culture centered on skill development, hard work, and sportsmanship. He is focused on creating an environment where players can reach their full potential. As the U10 coach, he is excited to lead and represent the Quinte region and looks forward to seeing what the team can accomplish.
U11 (2016) – Head Coach: Gary Sage

Gary brings extensive local experience to the bench, having played minor hockey for the Stirling Blues and Quinte Red Devils, followed by three seasons of Junior A with the Trenton Sting and Wellington Dukes. With 15 years of coaching experience—including nine with the Quinte Red Devils—he focuses on a positive environment for young athletes to learn, develop, and thrive by providing them with the structure, support, teaching, and encouragement to improve in all facets of the game and life. He is looking forward to another successful year for the 2016 age group.
U12 (2015) – Head Coach: Mitch Unger

Mitch brings a strong background in competitive hockey and a passion for youth development to our U12 team. Having played competitive hockey for many years, Mitch understands the commitment, teamwork, and discipline the game demands. With experience coaching youth hockey, his focus is on skill development, game awareness, and building confidence in every player. Mitch is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive environment where athletes can grow both on and off the ice. Emphasizing sportsmanship, respect, and hard work, they strive to help each player reach their full potential while fostering a love for the game.
U13 (2014) – Head Coach: Scoley Dow

Scoley Dow is a product of the Quinte Red Devils AAA program, playing six seasons at the AAA level before advancing to The Hill Academy Prep School. He continued his career in the Ontario Hockey League with the Mississauga Steelheads and later competed at the junior level with the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Transitioning into coaching, he has spent three years behind the bench with the Quinte Red Devils and three years with the Frankford Huskies, focusing on team development, culture, and individual player growth.
In addition to team coaching, he serves as an on-ice skills instructor with World Elite, specializing in skill development, skating, and game-specific training to help players reach their full potential.
U14 (2013) – Head Coach: Adam Rivers
Adam is an experienced coach and former high-performance athlete with deep roots in the Quinte hockey community. Adam previously served as a Head Coach in the Quinte system from 2016 to 2019, where he focused on player development, team culture, and building competitive, well-rounded athletes. His coaching approach emphasizes accountability, work ethic, and creating a positive environment that challenges players to reach their full potential.
Adam's playing career reflects a long history of leadership and high-level competition. He grew up playing minor hockey in Quinte before moving on to the Wellington Dukes, where he captained the team for four seasons. He continued his career at the NCAA Division I level with Mercyhurst University, serving as team captain during his final two years. Adam went on to play professionally in Germany with the Dortmund Moose, gaining international experience and insight into elite player development.
With a strong foundation as both a coach and player, Adam is committed to mentoring young athletes and helping them grow on and off the ice through a balanced approach that values skill development, character, and long-term success.
U15 (2012) – Head Coach: Kaelan Fraser

Kaelan is excited to return to the 2012 age group and continue to build on the success from this season. With ten years of coaching experience, the last seven of which have been spent with Quinte, Kaelan's coaching philosophy focuses on building a strong culture and fostering player development. Kaelan has a passion for coaching, and a keen interest in helping young athletes develop their skills on and off the ice.
He is a graduate of Centennial Secondary School and played for a number of seasons with Quinte. In addition to coaching, Kaelan serves in the Canadian Armed Forces at CFB Trenton. He is excited to work with the players next season and help them grow in every aspect of the game.
U16 (2011) – Head Coach: Tyler Green

Tyler has over 15 years of coaching experience at all different levels. He was with the Picton Pirates organization for 6 years, 2 as an assistant and 4 as Head Coach. He won the PJHL Tod Division Coach of the Year in the 2019–20 season. His most recent years have been back with the Quinte association. Tyler is known as a players’ coach who is supportive in helping athletes achieve their goals on and off the ice.
U18 (2009/2010) – Head Coach: Steve Tracze
Steve is a Quinte AAA product, who went on to play junior with both the Wellington Dukes and the Belleville Bulls. Steve began his coaching career with the Wellington Dukes (OPJHL) and later moved onto coaching the Kingston Frontenacs (OHL), and the Kingston Voyageurs (OPJHL) prior to returning to coach in Quinte. Steve is excited to help develop the players skills and looks forward to helping players move on to the next level. Currently Steve is Vice Principal at St Theresa Catholic Secondary School in Belleville, Ontario.
