The
Bonn Law Bantams secured 3 points over the weekend with a tie and a win.
On Saturday, it was a trip up the 401 to meet the Whitby Wildcats for the second time this season. The team was slow out of the gate and found themselves down by a pair of goals after two periods. Jack Dever got the Devils on the board early in the third frame with a power play goal, assisted by Ethan Miedema and Christopher Brydges and then Miedema found the back of the net himself for the equalizer (assisted by Dever and Carter McKee). The Devils ran out of time and had to settle for the single point, but Aidan Crowley made several key saves between the pipes to keep his team in the game.
The Bantams were back on home ice on Sunday at the CAA to host the Peterborough Petes and were successful in capturing two more points in the 4-3 win. Lighting the lamp for the Devils was Dever (2), Cal Uens, and Brydges. Collecting the assists on the goals was McKee, Brydges (2), Miedema, Uens (2) and Dever. Ethan Beattie was in net for the victory.
Next up: The Bantams will welcome the Oshawa Generals on Wednesday night for a rare mid week game and the Markham Waxers roll into town on Sunday. Both games at the CAA.
