This past weekend the U11’s won their last two regular season
games and finished league play with a record of 32-0-1.
Friday night they travelled to Kingston to take on the second place
Junior Gaels. Quinte skated to a 4-1 win.
Scoring for the Red Devils were Max Norton (3) and Evan Andrews.
Picking up assists were Brayden Straughan (2), Kash Nelson, Mac Brown and Will
Beebe.
Blake Laurin was in net for the win and Norton was named the
Devil of The Day.
Saturday night at the CAA they hosted last years OMHA Champions
the Whitby Wildcats for their Sponsor Appreciation game. Quinte came out on top
5-1.
Scoring for the Red Devils were Graydon Tucker, Cohen Reid,
Linden Ludolph, Kash Nelson and Will Beebe. Picking up assists were Beebe,
Reid, Jaxon Elrick, Mac Brown, Ryker Thompson, Noah Gilchrist and Max Norton.
Lily Groeneveld was in net for the win and Brayden Straughan was
named the Devil of The Day.
On Deck: The 417 Bus Line U11 Red Devils start their playoffs on
Sunday in Ajax/Pickering to take on the Raiders. They are in a playoff pool
with Kingston, Ajax/Pickering, Oshawa, North Central and Markham. The top two
teams from the pool will move on to OMHA Championships in Kingston March 29-31.
