Victorious Weekend for U10 BIHC QRD
The U10 Belleville Integrative Health Center Quinte Red Devils hit the road on Saturday to face the Central Ontario Wolves. The first period brought many great passing attempts but QRD could not connect. COW struck first, putting the first goal on the board to end the first. QRD regrouped and came out flying during the second striking early, to tie the game. Minutes later QRD showed some grit and hustle to score a short-handed go ahead goal.
Back and forth was the theme of the second as both teams found the back of the net. The third period scoring gates opened for the U 10 QRD team and they never looked back ending the game with a strong 6-2 win.
Back at home in Madoc Sunday the U10's brought some holiday cheer to the Madoc area by collecting donations for the local food bank. Once again friends, fans and family generously showed their support by filling a hockey bag (and lobby) with donations. In return the boys took control of the game against North Shore dominating the game from puck drop. Strong puck possession, grit, hustle, determination and highlight reel saves lead to a 5-1 win.
U10 BIHC QRD would like to extend a HUGE thank you for all the donations and would like to wish friends and family a wonderful holiday season.
