Breakaway Fuels U12's Win Both Games This Weekend
The Quinte U12 Devils grabbed 4 points in league play this weekend with two complete game wins

On Saturday the boys headed to Whitby for a game at noon.  They came out strong and controlled the play from the start against an always tough Wildcat team.  Jayden Stehlik would score both goals with assists going to Reid Haley and Smith Pilon.  Deacon Vos would grab the shutout in net behind a solid team defense game and 2-0 win.

On Sunday they would face off against Peterborough in Campbellford.  The always hard working Petes came to play and the Breakaway Boys only managed to sneak one by their goalie in the first.  Jared Russel found the back of the net with Pilon grabbing the assist.
They would create a bit of seperation in the second with Tripp Plumley and Kai Mackie finding the back of the net.  Assists going to Kolton Solmes, Jackson Simpson and Silas Templar.
Taking a 3-1 lead into the third the Devils would lock things down defensively again allowing only one shot on the net while scoring two more.  Plumley would get his second of the game and Simpson would score a beautiful goal to cap off a 5-1 victory.  Assists in the third wient to Evan VanEgmond, Charilie Dwyer and Russell.  Jordah Andrews took home the win in net.

Next week sees the team head to Clarington to face the North Shore Whitecaps on Sunday at 1:30
