Breakaway Fuels U12's Win Both Games on Weekend
The U12 Red Devils put together 6 great periods of hockey this weekend scoring 18 goals and not surrendering any against.

On Saturday the Breakaway Fuels Boys headed to Ajax to take on the Raiders.  This one was tight through the first with Jared Russell scoring the lone goal, unassisted.  The Devils would score two more in the second with Triipp Plumley from Kolton Solmes and Smith Pilon from Ryder Bradford extending the lead to 3-0.  The third period was all Quinte with the young Devils scoring 4 more.  Ethan Dowling would score two, Jackson Simpson and Kai Mackie would add singles.  Picking up helpers in the third were Silas Templar, Simpson, Dowling and Bradford.  Jordan Andrews picked up the shutout in net.

On Sunday the team would return to Marmora for a home game for the first time since the end of their U10 season in 2024.  They would host the North Central Predators who were wrapping up a three game road trip.  This game was all Quinte with the Devils scoring early and often.  They would score three in the first, five in the second and another three in the third to leave with a convincing 11-0 win.  Deacon Vos turned everything away to grab the shutout.

Next week the U12's are off to the Silver Stick in Whitby.  They kick things off Thursday afternoon against the Vaughan Kings.
