U12's Grab Two more League Wins
The Breakaway Fuels U12 Red Devils won mid week and again on Sunday to bring home four important league play points.

Wednesday night had the young devils on the road in Markham for a 730pm game against the Waxers.  The devils definitely had some road legs in the first period and settled for a 0-0 tie heading into the second frame.  The second was all Quinte as they exploded for 6 goals playing their traditional team first style with some outstanding unselfish plays ending up in the back of the Waxers net. The third period was more of the same with another four unanswered goals to finish with a convincing 10-0 win.

On Sunday the Breakaway Fuels boys hosted the Ajax Pickering Raiders in Campbellford.  The pesky Raiders came to play and forced the home team to buckle down and play hard nosed hockey.  Jared Russell would open the scoring in the first with a deflected point shot finding mesh.  Kai Mackie would extend the lead in the second from Silas Templar.  Mackie would provide some insurance in the third with Jackson Simpson picking up the assist and the game would end 3-0.  Deacon Vos would get the shutout in this one making several key saves.

On Deck:  The U12's have a busy weekend coming up with three league games in two days.  They host Barrie on Saturday at 1230 at the Mackay before the second half of a doubleheader where they will face the York Simcoe Express again on the Mackay at 545pm.
On Sunday they have the Barrie Colts again but in Campbellford at 1pm.
