On Saturday the Breakaway Fuels U12 Red Devils hosted the Markham Waxers at the Mackay pad in Belleville and skated to another playoff win
The young devils hit the ice flying for their last game in Belleville this year. Scoring two in the first, three in the second and two more in the third while only giving up one in the third to give the hometown crowd a great showing with a 7-1 victory. Despite being down a couple players with illness and injury all 3 lines, both defensive pairings and our goaltender played a solid game from start to finish. Strong special teams both on the power play and penalty kill also made a giant impact on the game.
ON Deck: Big week to wrap up the playoffs. Wednesday night in Marmora at 7 against Kingston. Saturday in Barrie and Sunday in Orillia against North Central Predators.
