Minor PeeWee, 2015-2016 (Quinte Red Devils)

The Foley Bus Lines Minor Peewee Red Devils finished the year with a tremendous effort at the OMHA AAA Championships.  The event was hosted in their home town in Belleville at the Yardman Arena this past weekend with action starting Friday morning and finals at 12pm on Sunday.

The Red Devils found themselves down early in the series against a tough and gritty Coyote Team.  In a race to 6 point series, the Coyotes took Game 1 in Madoc and Game 2 was a tie to give the Coyotes a 3 to 1 points lead in the series.   The Red Devils battled back in Game 3 to tie the series at 3 points.  Game 4 went to Richmond Hill and the Devils found themselves with their backs against the wall down 5 points to 3.  Game 5, saw the Bus Liners come out “on fire” with a convincing 7-0 win in Belleville and forced a final game with both teams tied at 5pts.

After falling behind in the series with a loss and a tie last weekend, the Foley Bus Lines Red Devils have once again shown their ability to overcome adversity and rebounded to tie the series at 5 pts.

The Foley Bus Lines Minor Peewee Red Devils suffer a loss in the home opener and tie game two in the series with Richmond Hill. Richmond Hill now leading the series with 3 point to 1 in a race to 6 points.

The Foley Bus Lines Minor Peewee  Red Devils have eliminated the Kingston Frontenacs in 3 straight games to advance in the OMHA play downs.  The Devils offensive power generated 21 goals while a tight defense coupled with solid goaltending allowed only an average of 2 goals against per game in the series against Kingston.
