FOLEY BUS LINES MINOR PEEWEES TAKE ANOTHER 4 POINTS!
The Foley Bus Lines Minor Peewees come home with 4 points from two games on the road this week against the Oshawa Generals and the Kingston Jr. Frontinacs. Strong defense and goaltending allowing only two goals, and relentless offence to net 16 was this weeks formula.
On Thursday January 7, the Devils rolled into Oshawa at the Campus Ice Centre to take on the Generals. The Devils found the back of the Generals cage 10 times while allowing only one goal in the lop sided match. Trevor Hoskin, Corbin Roach and Isaac Brown each scored a pair of goals; while, Cole Campbell, Kendrick Webster, Cooper Matthews and Liam Filip each netted singles. Assisting on the Devils goals were; Sami Douglas-Najem with a pair, Kendrick Webster with a pair, Connor Hunt, Cooper Matthews, Rheydan McCoy, Donovan McCoy, Trevor Hoskin and Corbin Roach. Andrew Munro provided rock solid goaltending in the Devils net.
On Saturday January 9, the Foley Bus Liners took to the ice in Kingston at the Cateraque Arena against the Jr. Frontenacs. Once again the Devils allowed only one goal while placing 6 in the Frontenacs net. Lighting the lamp for the Devils were; Cooper Matthews, Connor Hunt, Donovan McCoy, Kendrick Webster, Corbin Roach and Trevor Hoskin. The helpers went to; Sami Douglas-Najem with two, Corbin Roach, Connor Hunt, Cooper Matthews, Aaron Brown and Kendrick Webster. Corbin Votary stood tall in the Devils cage making key saves when needed.
Next action for the Foley Bus Lines Red Devils is Jan 15-17 as they travel to Toronto's Westwood Arena to compete in the Border Battle Tournament where they will face the top 5 teams in the U.S.A.
