Weekly report October 23, 2016
On Sunday October 23, 2016 the Vanderlaan Minor Bantams took to the road to
take on The Richmond Hill Coyotes. Richmond Hill was first on the board with
a goal early in the first period. The Devils answered back with seven
minutes left in the first with a goal by Brock Kelsh,assisted by Alex Case
and Clayton Farrow. Jett Bulter added the second goal with seconds remaining
in the period. Goal was assisted b yBrock Kelsh and Aiden Treverton. The
Coyotes came out strong in the second period to tie the game. The third
period remained scoreless ending in a 2-2 tie. Dixon Grimes was in goal for
the Devils.
On Saturday October 29, 2016 the Minor Bantams hosted the Markham Waxers. The Devils played with a short bench but would come up with the a 3-1 win. Goals were scored by Zack Brooks (2) and Nathanial Burelle. Assists coming from Aiden Treverton, Ben White and Nathanial Burelle. Ethan Fraser was in net for the Devils and was awarded player of the game.
