The Bonn Law Major Peewees begin their playoff run
The Bonn Law Quinte Red Devils traveled to Whitby on Saturday to take on the Wildcats in Game 1 of the quarter final round of the OMHA playoffs and skated away with a 5-2 win. Ethan Quick had a pair of goals in the game while Ben Lynch, Ethan Miedema and Jack Dever pitched in with singles. Collecting the assists on the goals was Jack Lowry, Keenan Wiles, Miedema (3), Will Haley, Tyson Carr and Aiden Haller-Brady. Aidan Crowley picked up the win between the pipes.
On Sunday, the Devils hosted the Wildcats for game 2 in Madoc and put together a strong team game, but unfortunately ended up on the losing end of a 5-4 game that took overtime to decide. Lighting the lamp for the Devils was Quick, Lynch, Miedema and Ben Smith. Picking up the assists on the goals was Christopher Brydges, Michael Dolton, Carr, Quick, Lowry and Duncan Schneider. Aidan Crowley handled the goaltending duties for the game.
The series is now tied at 2.
