The Bonn Law Minor Bantams have been named Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) team of the month for October!!!

The award is sponsored by Gatorade and awarded by the OMHA to a team that reaches an extraordinary level of excellence.  The team has been featured on the OMHA’s twitter and Instagram accounts.

The team continued to have regular season success with wins against Ajax Pickering Raiders and Richmond Hill Coyotes over the weekend, topping the East division with a 15-0 record. The boys travelled west to take on Ajax Pickering, where Ethan Quick opened scoring for the Devils on a rebound from Christopher Brydges. The Raiders were able to tie the game nearing the end of the first period with a powerplay goal, but Ben Davy (assist to Quick) put the Devils ahead again after one period of play.  Jack Dever and Michael Dolton (assists to Sid Wakely & Josh Cunningham) secured the lead in the second and Brydges scored mid way through the third for a 5-1 lead. Ajax Pickering battled back late in the third to score two more powerplay goals making it a 5-3 final. Aidan Crowley posted the win in net.

The boys then faced off at the RCAF against the Coyotes Sunday evening following the National Anthem and a moment of silence to honour our soldiers in the spirit of Remembrance Day. The boys then got to work and came out with a 9-1 victory despite a short bench.
