Hard Battled Weekend
The Pita Pit Minor PeeWees hit the road on Friday to take on the Clarington Toros. The Red Devils were down 2-0 but goals by Ben Laird, Carter Chadwick and RylanMcCormick gave the Devils a 3-2 lead. The Toros tied it late with a power play goal but the Red Devils came right back with a late power play goal scored by Ben Sherwin. Reece Herman got the W in the Devils 4-3 win. On Saturday Quinte played York Simcoe at the Wellness Centre. The Red Devils battled back to tie it at 2-2 but YSE would score late to defeat Quinte 3-2. Goal scorers were Ben Laird and Ben Sherwin. Liam Boyer was in net for the Devils.
