Minor Peewee, 2018-2019 (Quinte Red Devils)

The Pita Pit Minor Peewees pulled out a huge 4 points this weekend that moves them up to fourth place in the division to make the OMHA playoffs. They will have there hands full as they will square off with the top ranked team Central Ontario Wolves.

The Pita Pit Minor Peewees started there OMHA playoffs this weekend against the top ranked team Central Ontario Wolves. Each team would pull out a win in some fast paced exciting hockey to watch.

The Pita Pit Minor Peewees took the ice at the Wellness Centre on Saturday afternoon to face off against the Oshawa Generals. The Devils came out flying in this one and never looked back as they crushed the gens 8-0. Goals. Rylan McCormack, Kaiden Harmon, Ben Sherwin 2, Pax Murphy, Evan Erwin, Carter Chadwick and Ben Laird. Assists. Christian Sokoljuk, Laird,Sherwin, Harmon (2), Erwin (3), Osterhout (2), Murphy, McCormick,Owen Cassidy, Andrew MacNiel and Sam Thompson. Liam Boyer got the shutout for the Devils. 

On Saturday the Devils hosted the Ajax Pickering Raiders. After going down 2-0 the Red Devils fought back to end the game in a 2-2 tie. Goals. Evan Erwin and Andrew MacNiel. Assists. Carter Chadwick, Kaiden Harmon and MacNiel. Reece Herman took the tie in net for this one.  Sunday night the Devils travelled to Woodville to take on Central Ontario Wolves. The Devils lost this one 4-2. Goals. Evan Erwin and Ryland McCormick. Assists. Sam Thompson and Erwin. Liam Boyer was in net for this one.  On Deck. Saturday at home against Oshawa  Sunday in Peterborough to take on the Petes. 

The Pita Pit Minor Peewees hosted the Kingston Frontenacs Thursday night. The Devils came up short in this one and lost 2-1. Lone goal came from Sam Thompson assisted by Carter Chadwick. Liam Boyer was in net for the Red Devils.
