The Quinte Atom’s had a busy week!
On Wednesday, the team played their first home game against the Clarington Toros in Belleville.
At the end of the first period, the devils were down by 1. The first goal came near the end of the second period when Brayden Davidson put one past the goalie. A few minutes later Chase Cybulskie scored on a power play. Quinte ended the game with one more goal by Nate Rashotte. Assists went to: Maclean Chisholm (x2), Seth Scaletta and Ty Leavitt. Lilyana Reid got the 3-1 win in net.
The team traveled to London this past weekend to participate in their first tournament of the season- The Drew Doughty Ronald McDonald House Invitational. It was a great weekend of hockey, the team went 1-2-1.
Waterloo Wolves - 4-1 loss. Goals scored by Jake Gawley
Ottawa Valley Silver Seven- 3-3 tie. Goals scored by Chase Cybulskie, Maclean Chisholm and Nate Rashotte
Don Mills Flyers- 6-2 loss. Goals scored by Brayden Davidson and Maclean Chisholm
Burlington Eagles- 8-1 win. Goals scored by: Chase Cybulskie (x2), Brayden Davidson, Jake Gawley, Camden Slone, (x2), Maclean Chisholm & Wyatt Whalen.
The team is on the road again this weekend, playing the Barrie Jr. Colts and the North Central Predators.
