Quinte opened the scoring up in the first period when Jake Gawley scored a rebound from Ryan Foley. Then it was a tight fast passed game right through to the last 5 minutes when Nate Rashotte scored on a power play assisted by Keegan Goulah to make it 2-0 for Quinte. The Express slipped one in but Quinte held on to the 2-1 win. Lily Reid picked up the win in net.

Then goals came from Rashotte, Brayden Davidson and a empty netter from Maclean Chisholm for a 4-1 win over the Waxers. Assists went to Chisholm, Wyatt Whalen, Gawley, and Blake Munnings.
