Final Push to the Playoffs
The World Elite Training Atoms made their final push to the playoffs playing three games this week.

On Friday, the team travelled to Clarington to take on the Toros.  It wasn’t until the third period when the Devils got on the board.  Camden Slone fired the puck and Maclean Chisholm popped in the rebound.  Ryan Foley passed to Chase Cybulskie for the wrap around goal to tie the game.  Unfortunately, the Toros scored with three seconds left to take the 3-2 win over the Devils.

Saturday, the Devils were back on the road to face off against the Whitby Wildcats.   It was a fast game and each team was out to win.  At the end of the first period, Brayden Davidson to Slone for the first goal of the game.  Keegan Goulah to Cybulskie for the winning goal.  Quinte wins 2-1 against the Wildcats and takes home two points.

The Devils were back at their home barn in Madoc for Sunday’s game against the Oshawa Generals.  The Devils were hot!  Nate Rashotte started off the scoring, followed by another goal by Cybulskie.  In the second period- Wyatt Whalen, Goulah, Chisholm and Jake Gawley all found the back of the net.  Quinte would go on to score one more goal by Goulah in the third period.  The defence contributed most of the assists- Gabriel Davis, Blake Munnings, Seth Scaletta x 2, Pierson Clute, Ty Leavitt and Sloan were all helpers. Quinte wins 7-1 over Oshawa.

The World Elite Training Atoms finish their 35 game regular season with 52 points (24-7-4) which puts them in second place going into the playoffs.  Go Quinte Go!
