The Quinte Red Devils Novice AAA Team finish their regular season with a perfect record of 8-0
The Quinte Red Devils Novice team put up another 6 points this weekend, to complete their regular season with a record of 8-0.

On Friday, the Devils travelled to Whitby to take on the Wildcats for the third time this season. The two teams battled hard throughout the game, but the Devils would skate away with a 6-2 win. Grady Riley had a pair of goals in the game, while Noah Hughes, Mason Whalen, James Gullage and Edmund Dowling all added singles. Assisting on the goals was Whalen (2), Everett Brown, Rowyn Haley, Emerson Hailstone, Hughes, Riley and Dowling. Dax Sage was solid between the pipes for the win.

On Saturday the Devils were at home, where they would host Clarington in their second match up of the season. Although the Devils got off to a bit of a slow start, they finished strong scoring 5 unanswered goals to win the game 5-0. Lighting the lamp for the Devils was Rowyn Haley (2), Noah Hughes, Grady Riley, and Thomas Marsden. Holden Goulah, Edmund Dowling, Hughes and Haley all picked up assists in the game. Matt Travers picked up the shutout win between the pipes.

On Sunday, The Novice Red Devils travelled to Oshawa to play their last regular season game against the hardworking minor Generals. The two teams traded chances in the first part of the game, before the Devils pulled away, on their way to a 6-2 win. Noah Hughes and Emerson Hailstone each had a pair of goals in the game. James Gullage and Holden Goulah both added single goals in the game. Assisting on the goals was Jaxson Plummer, Goulah, Hughes, Gullage, Grady Riley (2), Rowyn Haley and Edmund Dowling. Matt Travers picked up his second win of the weekend between the pipes.


The Novice Red Devils have a very busy month ahead of them, starting with a tournament at Southern Tier next weekend. Keep up the great work!
