The
U14 Free Flow Petroleum Devils picked up two wins against the Central Ontario Wolves this weekend.
Saturday had the U14 Free Flow Petroleum Devils travel to Lindsay amidst their Roger’s Hometown Hockey festivities, to square off against the Central Ontario Wolves (COW). Quite a physical game, the U14s were not offered a smooth road to victory. Trailing for the first period and unable to secure the lead until later in the game, the U14’s persevered. Goaltending duties by Cohen Bedore, the Devils drove home with a 6-3 victory. Earning points during Saturday’s game were: Jake Campbell (Jake Moore and Kaden Koutroulides), Jack Foley (Grayson Walst), Matthew Airhart (Max Dubé and Moore), Rhett Coulson (unassisted), Foley (Noah Lesser and J. Campbell) and Dubé (J.C. Lemieux).
On Sunday, the U14s returned the hosting favour as COW visited the Devils. Katste Brant earned the shutout in the 9-0 victory. Scoring for the U14 Devils: Moore (Airhart and Lesser), Koutroulides (Dubé and Lesser), Airhart (Koutroulides and Ryan Babbs), Moore (Dubé and Babbs), Foley (Lemieux and Lesser), Liam Campbell (Coulson and Dubé), J. Campbell (Lemieux and Babbs), Lemieux (J. Campbell) and Lemieux (Walst and L. Campbell).
Next game: Wednesday night at 7:45pm, the U14s play host to the Ajax-Pickering Raiders, at the Wellness Centre.
