Gaining momentum in their playoff run, the
Free Flow Petroleum U14s earned two victories on the week.
The U14s travelled to Markham on Saturday evening to face the Waxers. The Devils made certain the Waxers felt no home team advantage, as they dominated the play and the scoreboard. Cohen Bedore was in net for the 6-3 victory.
Points on Saturday from: Matthew Airhart (2 goals, 1 assist), Noah Lesser (1 goal and 2 assists), Jake Campbell (2 goals), Kaden Koutroulides (1 goal and 1 assist) and Jack Foley and Cooper Kelly (1 assist each).
The Devils returned home for a night's rest before a quick turnaround, welcoming the Ajax Pickering Raiders to town early Sunday afternoon. The Free Flow Petroleum U14s put their talents and teamwork on display. The team came to win and that they did! Net minder Katste Brant earned Sunday's 7-2 victory. Points were tallied by: Moore (4 goals, FOUR!!!), Foley (1 goal and 3 assists), Lesser (4 assists), Airhart (1 goal and 1 assist), J. Campbell (1 goal), and Babbs, L. Campbell, Koutroulides and MacDonald (1 assist each).
On deck: The U14s' playoff round robin resumes at the end of the month, with an away game in Ajax on March 26th and a home game vs. Kingston on Sunday, March 27th, 12:30pm at QSWC.
