The Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils are still undefeated in ETA league play after a 7-4 road win Sunday in Clarington.
Will Beebe would open up the scoring just over a minute in for the Red Devils with the assist going to Noah Gilchrist. A few minutes later Beebe would score again, with the lone assist going to Jaxon Elrick, making the score 2-0 for Quinte. That would be all the scoring after the first period.
Less than a minute into the second period Clarington would open up the scoring but Evan Andrews would score an unassisted marker shortly after to make it 3-1 for Quinte. Clarington would score two more times in the period but Beebe would score his hat trick goal and Cohen Reid would also score (both unassisted) to make the score after two periods 5-3 for Quinte.
Half way through the third period Matt Dawson scored an unassisted goal with a blast from the point. Clarington would score less than a minute later but right after Beebe would score his fourth of the game with the assist going to Gilchrist.
That was all the scoring in the game as Quinte would come out on top 7-4.
Blake Laurin picked up the win in net and Will Bebee was named player of the game.
ON DECK: The Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils are at home playing at the QSWC on the CAA Pad at 1pm vs the Peterborough Petes. It is “Quinte Day” as all Red Devil teams are in action throughout the day against Peterborough at the QSWC.
