Another Successful Weekend For The Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils
They had two exhibition wins on Saturday and a league play win on Sunday.

Saturday they faced off against the Mississauga Reps for two exhibition games at the QSWC.

In the first game Quinte would come out on top by a score of 8-3. Red Devil goals were scored by Max Norton (2), Ethan Dowling (2), Evan Andrews (2), Cohen Reid and Noah Gilchrist. Assists in the game went to Reid (2), Gilchrist (2), Norton and Kash Nelson. Lily Groeneveld picked up the win in net.

In game two Quinte skated to a 11-1 win. Evan Andrews led the way in the goal department for the Red Devils scoring six times. Other Quinte goal scorers were Graydon Tucker (2), Will Beebe, Ethan Dowling and Mac Brown. Picking up assists were Dowling (3), Cohen Reid, Noah Gilchrist and Andrews. Blake Laurin picked up the win between the pipes.

On Sunday it was back to league play with a home game at the QSWC against Kingston. The game was a back and forth battle. Evan Andrews opened up the scoring with three minutes left in the first period. Assists went to Will Beebe and Linden Ludolph. 30 seconds later Noah Gilchrist jammed a rebound in the net with Ethan Dowling picking up the assist. That was all the scoring in the first, making it 2-0 for Quinte.

Three minutes into the second period Andrews would score again from Linden Ludolph. Kingston would score twice in the frame making the score 3-2 for the Red Devils after two periods. Malkin Courtney would score the third period’s lone goal making the final 4-2 for Quinte. Lily Groeneveld had a great game in net and picked up the win. Evan Andrews was named player of the game.

 

ON DECK: Three Home games this week - Thursday at RCAF at 7pm vs Peterborough, Saturday in Marmora at 2pm vs Central Ontario and Sunday in Marmora at 12pm vs Oshawa.
