The Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils Head Into The Holiday Break With A Perfect Record Of 15-0
On Saturday the team headed to Whitby to take on the Wildcats. It was a thrilling back and forth battle.

Ethan Dowling would open up the scoring four minutes into the game by jamming home a rebound from a Kash Nelson shot. That would be the first periods lone goal making the score 1-0 Red Devils after the first period.

Jaxon Elrick would score an unassisted coast to coast goal six minutes into the second period making it 2-0 for Quinte. Whitby would answer just over a minute later making the score 2-1 for the Red Devils. It was just over a minute later that Noah Gilchrist won an offensive zone faceoff to Evan Andrews, who slid the puck over to Max Norton who would bury it. The score after two periods was 3-1 for the Red Devils.

Quinte would find themselves in penalty trouble for most of the third period. Whitby managed a power play goal three minutes into the frame making it 3-2 for Quinte. The rest of the period Whitby would have their chances to tie the game but Lily Groeneveld shut the door. The final score would be a 3-2 win for Quinte.

Lily Groeneveld picked up the win in net and Jaxon Elrick was named player of the game.

ON DECK: The Foley Bus Lines U10 Red Devils are now on a two week Christmas game break. They are back in action on Saturday, January 07 in Lindsay at 2:15pm to take on the Central Ontario Wolves. Sunday, January 08 they head to Oshawa to take on the Generals at 3pm.
