The
Free Flow Petroleum Red Devils
drop their lone match over the weekend
The Quinte Free Flow Petroleum Devils traveled to Peterborough Saturday evening for a match against the Petes. Liam Campbell, on a feed from Matthew Airhart and Noah Lesser, opened scoring for the Devils. Peterborough would even things up with a breakaway goal and the period would end in a tie. While Quinte was kept off the scoreboard in the 2nd, Peterborough found the back of the net twice. From the point in the third, a power-play goal from Airhart would bring the game within reach for the Devils, but a Petes’ empty net goal ended the tilt, Otsirakatste Brant taking the 4-2 loss between the pipes for the Devils.
ON DECK: The Devils have a busy week, hosting the Central Ontario Wolves on Wednesday, 8:30pm on CAA and the North Central Predators on Saturday, 2pm on Mackay. On Sunday the team travels to Markham to take on the Waxers.
