The Bonn Law QRD U13 Team headed North this
weekend, and collected 8 points in league play on their weekend road trip.
The Red Devils started off their weekend in
Barrie, where they faced the hard working Colts and a red hot goalie! Miller
Nicholson scored the only goal of the game, in the third period. Assists going
to Noah Hughes and Mason Whalen. Matt Travers stood tall between the pipes, to
earn the shutout in the 1-0 win.
On Saturday, the Devils would face the York
Simcoe Express, at the Prestigious St. Andrews College. This time, the Devils
were firing on all cylinders, and although the Express got on the board first,
the boys went on to score 13 unanswered goals on their way to a 13-1 win. Shea
Teather led the offense, with 4 goals and an assist. Also lighting the lamp for
the Devils; Kyler Patterson (2), Noah Hughes (2), Brody Grant, Oliver
McCulloch, Tyler Martin, Miller Nicholson and Cameron Stevens. Assisting on the
goals; James Gullage (4), Fisher Kernohan (3), Mason Whalen (3), MIller
Nicholson (2), Hughes (2), McCulloch (2), Stevens (2), Thomas Marsden (2),
Grant and Rowyn Haley. Matt Travers was solid between the pipes for the win,
In their second game of the day, The Red
Devils would head back to Barrie to face the Colts for the second time in less
than 24 hours. Once again, Christian Bravo was sensational between the pipes
for The Colts.The Devils managed to score 5 goals in the game, on their way to
a 5-2 win. Kyler Patterson and Fisher Kernohan each had a pair of goals in the
game, and Oliver McCulloch added a single with a blast from the point. Assists
in the game; Gullage (2), Haley (2), Stevens (2), Grant. Dax Sage picked up the
On win between the pipes.
On Sunday, The Red Devils headed to Rama, for
a tilt with the Predators. The Devils scored early, and often in this one, and
skated to a 14-0 win in their 4th game of the weekend. Brody Grant had a hat
trick in the game. Also scoring in the game; Kernohan (2), Nicholson (2),
Martin, Tether, Stevens, Whalen, Marsden, Gullage, Austen Pettey and Holden
Goulah. Dax Sage was sharp in net to earn the Shutout.
