Minor Atoms win Silver at Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs Tournament, News, Minor Atom, 2015-2016 (Quinte Red Devils)

The Madison Excavating Minor Atoms travelled to Hamilton last weekend for the Jr. Bulldogs Reebok Classic Tournament. 

Day one of the tournament, the Devils were 1 and 1. Going into Saturday, the Devils faced the Markham Majors and took the victory 3-1 to advance in the elimination round. The Devils went on to face the home town team in the quarter finals and won 3-2 against the Bulldogs. Sunday action had the Devils facing local rival Peterborough for the semis. The Devils once again came out on top with a 4-3 win.  The final game had the Devils back in competition with the only team they had lost to in the tournament - the London Jr. Knights. It was a fantastic final game with the teams very evenly matched - but after a double overtime, it was the silver medal that the Devils took home. The team has much to be proud of for a great effort and job well done.
