QRD U12 Home Opener
The Stampkrete QRD U12’s kicked off their home opener on the weekend, hosting the Richmond Hill Coyotes at the Marmora Arena.
Dawson Chalk opened the scoring in the 1st(assisted by Joey Seguin), before Trent Clow tallied 2 of his own to give QRD a commanding 3-0 lead after 2 periods (assists by Andrew Dewar, Coen Lowry, and Brechyn Aird). QRD was not done yet as they continued to apply the pressure to the Coyotes. Ben Hunt (assisted by Kalum Phillips), Joey Seguin (assisted by Andrew Dewar), Dawson Chalk with his 2ndof the game (assisted by Easton Thompson), and Lauchlan Whelan (assisted by Joey Seguin) would round out the scoring giving Quinte a convincing 7-0 victory.Ryerson Swan & Nathan Ferriss split goaltending duties in the home opener, turning aside all the shots they faced to share in the shutout win!
