U12, 2021-2022 (Quinte Red Devils)

The Stampkrete QRD U12’s travelled to Oakville to compete in the OMHA Championships on the weekend.  QRD finished off the round robin format with a record of 0-1-2, which was not quite good enough to advance to Sundays Semi-Finals.

On Thursday March 24th the Stampkrete QRD U12’s hosted the Whitby Wildcats at the Baltimore Recreation Centre.  It was a tightly fought affair, with both teams trading scoring opportunities.  Whitby took the lead in the second period, before Lauchlan Whelan tied the game, taking a nice pass from Brechyn Aird.  Regulation solved nothing, but Whitby would score the overtime winner taking the game 2-1.  Ryerson Swan took the loss in net for QRD.

On Sponsor Appreciation Day, the Stampkrete QRD U12’s came away with a hard fought 3-2 win vs. the York-Simcoe Express this past Saturday in Marmora.

On Saturday the Stampkrete QRD U12’s opened their playoffs with an impressive win over the visiting Whitby Wildcats. Whitby opened the scoring in the 1st with a power play goal, but Quinte would answer back with a power play goal of their own (Coen Lowry) before the end of the period.

The Stampkrete QRD U12’s travelled to Woodville on Sunday to take on the Central Ontario Wolves.  Central had taken the first 2 contests vs. Quinte, so Quinte was looking to seek some revenge.
