The Bonn Law QRD U12 Team picked up 5 of 6 points on the road this weekend
The Bonn Law QRD U12 Team picked up 5 of 6 points in league play this weekend, during their 3-day road trip to Barrie, Richmond Hill and York Simcoe.

The Devils started their weekend in Barrie on Friday evening. Although they didn’t get much going in the first period, it was a different story, when they scored 6 goals in the second and 4 more in the third period, on their way to a 10-0 win. James Gullage scored 4 goals in the game, while Shea Teather and Noah Hughes each added a pair. Cameron Stevens and Brody Grant each added a goal in the game as well. Chipping in with helpers on the goals; Grant (3), Teather (2), Gullage, Hughes, Whalen, Pettey, Marsden & Goulah. Dax Sage shut the door on the Colts, to pick up the shutout.

On Saturday, The Devils were at Richmond Hill for a game with The Coyotes. After taking a 2-0 lead into the second period, the Red Devils took their foot off the gas and the Coyotes took advantage with their hard work, and the game would end in a 3-3 tie. Austin Pettey, Jaxson Plummer, and Mason Whalen provided the goals in the game. Assists; Pettey, Gullage, Grant, Plummer. Matt Travers stood tall between the pipes in the game.

On Sunday, The Red Devils travelled to St. Andrew’s college, looking to bounce back against the undefeated York Simcoe Express. After a faced pace, back and forth first period, the score remained 0-0 at the end of one. Brody Grant got his team on the board with a goal in the first shift of the second period, but YSE would add two of their own before the end of the frame, taking a 2-1 lead in to the third. The Devils went to work in the third period, scoring five unanswered goals on their way to a 6-2 win over The Express. Grant added two more goals to complete the hat trick, while Nicholson, Gullage and Teather also lit the lamp in the win. Adding assists on the goals was Gullage (4), Teather (3), Whalen and Hughes. Dax Sage picked up his second win of the weekend with another strong game in net.

On Deck: It’s another busy week for The Red Devils, as they host the Kingston Junior Gaels Wednesday night in Belleville, before heading to North Central for two games Saturday & Sunday.
