Maines Quinte Red Devils U18 team added another 2 to the wins column and 1 loss
in a busy weekend line up.
Game one of the weekend had the Devils on the road to York-Simcoe to take on the Express. Ryan Jacobs secured his first shut out of the season as he turned away the Express while Mason Musclow scored the lone goal of the game on the set up from Sammy Longo and Dylan Murdoch.
Game two had the Devils play host to the Peterborough Petes. Evan Erwin opened the scoring with 2 goals in the first on set ups from Brody Nielissen, Sam Thompson(2) and Connor Weido. Adding to the scoreboard were Deke Osterhout(2), Kadan Byne and Nielissen. Assists came from Erwin(2), Isaac Krentz, Nielissen, Deacon Ellis (3) and Byne. Benjamin Lind-Milekvist was in net for the 6-5 win.
Game three had the Devils hosting the Ajax-Pickering Raiders and taking their first loss of the weekend. Scoring for the Devils in the 10-3 loss were Osterhout, Vincent Larose-Amyot and Erwin. Assists from Erwin and Weido. Jacobs was in net for the loss.
