Maines U18 Quinte Red Devils had a home and away weekend and secured two wins
as they faced off against the North Central Predators and the Markham Waxers.
Playing host to the North Central Preds on Saturday the Devils wasted no time in the first taking the lead with two goals from Deacon Ellis and Avery Wease. Assisting were Brody Nielissen, Evan Erwin and Connor Weido. Deke Osterhout added another in the third assisted by Erwin and Ellis to take the 3-2 win. Benjamin Lind-Milekvist was in net for the win.
Game two of the weekend had the Devils on the road to Markham to take on the Waxers. In a high scoring game the Devils started the game off with 4 goals in the first coming from Deke Osterhout, Nolan Donnelly(2) and Vincent Larose-Amyot. Assisting in the first were Brody Nielissen, Evan Erwin, Larose-Amyot and Mason Musclow. Evan Erwin would go on to score all 3 of the last goals of the game with one assisted by Osterhout. Ryan Jacobs was in net for the 7-6 win.
