Nov. 6-12 Weekly Report

Maines QRD U18 team had a busy week starting with a midweek match up hosting the
Whitby Widcats.
In the Whitby game, the Devils took the lead in the first with 2 goals. Scoring were Ryland Harvey and Nolan Donnelly, assisted by Sammy Longo(2), Donnelly and Harvey. Goal number three came from Liam Philip unassisted. Bemjamin Lind-Milekvist was in the for the win.
The weekend match ups had the Devils go on to play host to the York Simcoe Express. After a scoreless first period, it was the Express that managed to bury the puck twice in the second but the QRD crew came back in the third to tie up the game with a goal from Philip and a second from Deacon Ellis. Assisting were Connor Weido and Evan Erwin. With just 4 seconds left in the tie game the Express slide one past the goal line to give the Express the win. Ryan Jacobs minded the net for the Devils.
Game three of the week had the Devils on the road to Campus Ice in Oshawa to face the Generals. The first period was a back and forth battle ending in a 1-1 split. Kadan Byne scored the first of the game on the set up from Mason Musclow. The second set would end 2-2 with Weido scoring on a pass from Ellis. The Generals scored the lone goal of the third to upset the Devils. Lind-Milekvist was in net for the Devils.
