Points Pile Up Versus the Petes
In
the third of three games this week the Devils downed the Petes in a 5-0
win on the road. It was a balanced attack that saw the Young Gentlemen
Devils dominate the scorekeeper's sheet on the back of net-minder Pierce
Nelson.
Nelson who was credited a shutout for his team turned aside 15 shots alone in the first and kept the Petes at bay for the remaining forty. Scoring for the Devils were Devin Morrison with one goal and two helpers, with Poole, Dunkley, Baker, and Boomhower adding singles. Leonard, Sherwin, and Roy added single points with their assists.
The Devils take their 3-1-1 record into a break where they travel to London to compete in the Wendy Dufton Memorial Tournament on October 9th. For news, scores and all things Devil follow @QuinteRedDevil and the Gentlemen Devils @MMidgetDevils. Go Devils Go!!
