Minor Midget, 2015-2016 (Quinte Red Devils)

The KKP Minor Midget team graciously accepted the nomination by the OHL Cup Nomination Committee to be selected as one of 5 Wildcard selections for OHL Cup 2016. The Young Gentlemen Devils were victorious through the group stage with the second best result going undefeated through 4 games. The Devils matched their Big Brother team in the 2014-2015 Minor Midgets who were also eliminated in overtime in the Quarter Finals.

Like any season in sport the 2015-2016 season for the KKP Minor Midgets was full of challenges. Not shy to the challenge the Minor Midget team not only faced these challenges head-on but were successful at becoming a better team with a deeper understanding of sport and themselves.

The KKP Minor Midget Red Devils had a tough week among the top of the table in the East but they battled hard and that will prepare them well for the upcoming Toronto Marlboro's International Holiday Classic which starts on Boxing Day!

In two games this week the KKP Minor Midgets played the Whitby Wildcats and the Markham Waxers and held their own taking four out of a possible four points.

It was the regularly scheduled Wednesday night KKP Minor Midget game of the week that saw visiting 1st place ETA-East Kingston travel to the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. The week ended with the Minor Midget Showcase hosted by the ETA-West North Central Predators.
