Holding Ground
The Devils played three games this week against the best that the ETA has to offer. They were all tightly contested bouts with the Devils holding ground and their place in the ETA East.

Saturday Nov 14
(4-2 Loss to YSE)
It was a great team on team battle in the KKP Minor Midget's game against the undefeated York-Simcoe Express on Saturday afternoon the final score was not in the Devil's favour but the team played hard and as a unified front against the opposition. Pierce Nelson was on duty for this game and scoring both goals in front of him was Nathan Dunkley assisted by four of his teammates in Devin Morrison, Braydon Crowe, Madoka Suzuki and Joe Roy.

Friday Nov 13
(3-2 Loss to GKF)
In the middle of this triple-headed week of games the Devils traveled Eastward to take on the Greater Kingston Frontenacs. Kingston, holding 1st place in the East, were stingy in their goal-minding as they only gave up two goals. The Devils well executed offensive strategy was peppered with numerous chances but it was three goals by the other side that decided this game. The tally for the Devils was Dawson Baker with help from Matthew Poole and Matt Sherwin with help from Nathan Dunkley and Dawson Baker. Evan Morrison stood strong in the pipes for this game.

Wednesday Nov 11
(4-3 Win against COW)
This game played out very much like the first two meetings against the Central Ontario Wolves but the Devils would just not let this one end in a draw. The winning goal was scored by Theo Citrullo on a seeing eye puck from the Quinte blue-liner. He was assisted by Poole and Baker. Dunkley opened the scoring from a great pass by Morrison and Grills and Sherwin would round out the scoring with help from Wheeler, Leonard, Crowe and Warren.

The Devils look to solidify their place in the ETA East as they take on the Petes of Peterborough and the Predators of North Central both at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre - Family Dental Centre Rink. Come out to support your Devils and join the #DevilNation in cheering Go Devils Go!!!
