The Stampkrete QRD U12’s travelled to Woodville on Sunday to take on the Central Ontario Wolves. Central had taken the first 2 contests vs. Quinte, so Quinte was looking to seek some revenge.
Coen Lowry would score a PP goal late in the 1st period to put QRD up 1-0. Drawing assists on the power play marker were Ewan Dahle and Trent Clow.
Central would tie it up in the second, deflecting a point shot past Ryerson Swan to even the contest 1-1. Quinte would respond quickly, when Hudson Brown converted a nice pass from Lowry on a perfectly executed 2-on-1. After a hard fought penalty filled 3rdperiod, the game would end 2-1 for Quinte, securing a 4thplace seed heading into the playoffs.
Ryerson Swan took the win in net for QRD.
