Minor Midget (U16), 2019-2020 (Quinte Red Devils)

This past weekend, the Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget Red Devils successfully defended their title as OMHA Champions by defeating the Oshawa Generals 5-1 in the Sunday Gold medal final. In game one of the round robin tournament, the Devils found themselves up against a familiar foe as they took on the Whitby Wildcats at 2pm Friday. Both teams seem to play a conservative game to start the scoreless first period until Quinte finally drew first blood with two in the second. Full OMHA Tournament Minor Midget schedule

In the OMHA semi-finals, the Foley Bus Lines Minor Midget Devils found themselves up against their old foe from Oshawa in the form of the Generals. Game one started out tied after the first period before the Devils took over and scored five unanswered the rest of the way to take the opener 6-1. Game two took place in a late Sunday nighter in Oshawa.

The series, put together by the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, features members of the Red Devils team throughout the season as they navigate the balance between their lives on and off the ice.
