Gillespies Tree Service QRD U14’s Weekly Report - Dec 4 2023
The Gillespie's Tree Service U14 Quinte Red Devils got back into regular season action after their Silver Stick weekend and added 4 points to their win column!
They started the weekend off in Baltimore on Saturday where they faced a tough Whitby Wildcats who had already beat them earlier in the season, however this didn’t stop them from playing a fantastic game. The Devils walked away with a 2-1 win with Gayle leading the way in net. Goals were scored by M. Aird and Laurin, while assists were added by Minifie, Seguin, Dahle and Dewar.
A quick turnaround saw the team back in action on Sunday in Belleville against the Oshawa Generals, the Devils wasted no time cracking the game wide open as they ended up taking the contest 10-1 with Ferriss getting the win in net. Goals were scored by Whelan (3), Minifie (2), Clow, Dahle, Beebe, Laurin and Jones. Assists were added by Dahle (2), Laurin (2), Peeters (2), Seguin (2), Harold, Jones, Kennedy, Whelan, B. Aird, Beebe and Clow.
The Red Devils are back in action on Thursday and Saturday this week and hope to keep their winning ways on track!
