The Gillespie’s Tree Service U14 Quinte Red Devils rolled into the weekend with a 3-0 record so far in the playoffs and looking to improve it with two more games on the docket.
First up on Saturday afternoon they faced off versus Ajax in Belleville. Gayle got the win in net with a 5-3 victory. Goals came from Kennedy, Whelan, Laurin, Minifie and Clow with assists added by Minifie(2), Whelan(2), Jones, Peeters, Seguin, B. Aird and Fisher.
With a quick turnaround Sunday the Devils faced off versus Oshawa for the second time these playoffs. The Devils end up taking the 2-0 playoff sweep versus Oshawa with a 7-0 shutout win for Ferriss. Goals came from Laurin(2), Whelan, Dewar, Minifie, Clow and Dahle. Helpers were added by Dahle(2), Seguin(2), Kennedy(2), Clow(2), Laurin,
M. Aird, Minifie and Dewar.
Heading into this upcoming weekend the Devils are 5-0 with two big road games versus North Central and Barrie ahead.
