Gillespie's Tree Service QRD U14’s Weekly Report - March 11, 2024
The Gillespie’s Tree Service U14 Quinte Red Devils took a trip this weekend to play games #6 and #7 of the 10 game playoff round robin!
The first match of the weekend was in Innisfil where they faced off against the Barrie Jr. Colts. After a hard fought game the Devils dropped this one 5-4 in overtime. Goals came from Whelan, Minifie, Clow and Dahle, helpers were added by Clow(2), Minifie, Dewar, Harold, Laurin and B. Aird. Ferriss was in net for this matchup.
With a quick turn around less then 24 hours later the squad was facing off against the North Central Predators. The Devils walked away with a convincing 9-2 win with goals coming from Laurin(2), Dahle(2), Peeters, Jones, Clow, B. Aird and Whelan. Helpers were added by Laurin(2), Dahle(2), Fisher(2), Dewar(2), Whelan(2), Peeters, Clow, B. Aird, Lowry, Kennedy and Seguin. Gayle getting the win in net.
The Devils finish the playoff round robin with their final three games this week.
