The Gillespie’s Tree Service U14 Red Devils have a 6 Point playoff run this week!
The U14 Quinte Red Devils started off the 10 game playoff round robin this past week on Thursday night in Baltimore against the Clarington Toros. The squad came out flying and didn’t take their foot off of the gas, leading to a 6-0 shutout win for Nathan Ferriss. Goals came from Whelan(3), Minifie, Clow and Dahle with assists coming from Minifie(2), Fisher(2), Clow, Laurin and Whelan.
Game 2 of the playoffs was played in Belleville on Saturday against the North Central Predators where the team got their second win 8-2 with Gayle in the cage. Goals came from Whelan(2), Clow(2), Minifie, Jones, Laurin and M. Aird. Assists were added by Whelan(3), Dahle(2), Lowry(2), Minifie(2), Kennedy, Clow, Laurin, Dewar and B. Aird.
To wrap up the weekend the Devils travelled to Oshawa Sunday night to face off against the Jr. Gens. After a back and forth game the Devils were victorious for the third playoff game in a row with a 5-2 win and saw Ferriss getting the win in net. Goals came from Minifie, Whelan, Clow, Kennedy and Laurin. Assists came from Minifie(2), Harold, Clow and Kennedy.
After a 3-0 weekend the Devils get back to practice this week before another 2 playoff games ahead this weekend.
